what if the MRI shows just bone on bone and a liagament folded and caught in the joint, and extra bone on top of the knee cap and a miniscus tear that is not able to be repaired.
I have been told i will need a half knee reconstruction.
I have been advised to be in the water every day and just walk.
Billy – I am positive your knees will thank you and I look forward to hearing your progress!

Hi Gai -
Personally I don’t think walking at this point would be beneficial, but this would depend on how much pain you are in when you walk. The water is good advice…
Yes, sounds like you have a very intricate situation on your hands. The majority of your issue is a result of a lack of space in your knee joint which is why the ligament is folded and caught (not enough room!). Space needs to be created to stop the squeezing of the nerves in the knee which gets rid of the pain. The home study course covers creating the space inside the knee joint which allows it to begin to heal. Of course there are other things which need to be done as well like the water (already mentioned), and proper nutrition, not to mention the stretching, strengthening of the joint to hold the bones in their new stable comfortable position. It is important to setup the conditions to make the healing of your knee inevitable…this is regardless of whether you have the knee surgery or not…
The surgery is ALWAYS an option however I am a proponent of trying a less invasive protocol first…
Let me know how else I can help…

Hi Bill,
I was in a motorbike accident in 1994 and have had 19 surgeries to my left leg so far, Im in the middle of another ballooning surgery so I can have enough skin coverage across my knee to allow me to recieve a knee replacement. Im 43 years old now and use tramadol 3 times a day. also my knee only bends 90 degrees. I have 2 sqrews in my knee and have only quarter of a knee cap left which was wired together for a few years to mend. Im hoping your info can possably help me with my pain and strengthening my knee. any extra suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks lyn

A year an half ago I have a sport accident in which my left leg tibial plateau external side was fractured. It was repaired with 5 screws and a Titanium strap, actually I can walk do some static bike with no pain but with some discomfort. Even though I have been mentiond by my orthopaedist that in near future I will require knee replacement. I would appreciate any advice that would help me try to diferr for a longer period of time the knee replacement. I am 48 yaers old.

Would you tell me more about what your discomfort feels like? This will give me a clue as to how I will be able to support and direct you…
Hi Bill
I have been sufering pain in boths knees since about 9 months ago.
I Had X Rays recently and it shows that I have a malaligment in both knees and there is pressure in the inside part where there is very litle space between the upper bone and the lower bone ..and hence the pain. I am sixty years old , sport oriented and never had pain before.
The doc said I needed total knee replacement in both knees.
How can you help me.
Thank you

Hey Bill,
I’ve very recently just had reconstructive surgery on my ACL (2 weeks ago) in my right knee and now as well as that, i feel my left knee becoming increasingly weak as the pressure has solely been on that knee for the past 10 weeks. I was wondering what you suggest would be the best way to try and improve this situation.
Many Thanks

Hi Niral
There are many things that come to mind regarding your situation.
First I would ask you what you’ve been doing so far for rehab?
Second, I believe we should setup a time to talk so we can figure out a game plan to strengthen the knee that had surgery so it begins to take the pressure off of your other leg…
Click on the following link so we can get that setup: http://www.on2url.com/app/adtrack.asp?MerchantID=143560&AdID=553280

I had tore a median meniscus and had surgery on my right knee four years ago. But I still experience the pains when walking and stiffness of the knee when I sit for a long time.

Hi Mark
Yes, the surgery fixed what was torn however pain comes from the nerves in your knee being irritated…The Knee Pain Home Study Course will really help you with that irritation and show you how to get that pressure off the nerves in your knee causing the irritation…
Let me know how it goes…
